【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiessafetyrequirementsandtheirverificationbytestingforthedesignandconstructionofportable,hand-held,internalcombustionenginedriven,cut-offmachines,intendedtobeusedbyasingleoperatorinthecuttingofconstructionmaterials,suchasasphalt,concrete,stoneandmetal.Itisapplicabletothosemachinesdesignedpurposelyforusewitharotating,bonded-abrasiveand/orsuperabrasive(diamond)cut-offwheelhavingamaximumoutsidediameterof406mm,centre-mountedon,anddrivenby,aspindleshaft,wherethetopofthewheelrotatesawayfromtheoperator(seeFigure1).ThisInternationalStandarddealswithallsignificanthazardsrelatedtothehand-helduseofsuchmachines(seeClause4).Itspecifiesmethodsfortheeliminationorreductionofhazardsarisingfromtheiruse,aswellasthetypeofinformationonsafeworkingpracticestobeprovidedwiththemachines.Cut-offmachinesdesignedinaccordancewiththisInternationalStandardareintendedtobeusedbypersonswhohavereadandunderstoodthesafetyrequirementsgiveninthe“instructionhandbook”andwhousetheappropriatepersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE).Exceptfornoise,environmentalaspectsarenotconsideredbythisInternationalStandard;norarecut-offwheelspecificationsgiven—forsuchspecifications,see,forexample,EN12413andEN13236.ThisInternationalStandardisnotapplicabletomachinesmanufacturedbeforethedateofitspublication.
