【摘要】:Itisnotpossibletoestablishaprecisecorrelationbetweenacceleratedandnaturalweatheringbecauseofgeographicalclimaticvariations,localweathervariationfromnormal,andlocalpollutants.Thisweatheringapparatusandprocedureareusedforcomparingtheweatheringcharacteristicsofbituminousmaterialsagainstareferencematerialforwhichtheoutdoorweatheringcharacteristicsareknown.GuideG141providesguidanceregardingthisissue.1.1Thispracticedescribestestconditionsandproceduresforenclosedcarbon-arcexposuresconductedaccordingtoPracticesG151andG153forbituminousroofingandwaterproofingmaterialsthathaveaminimumsofteningpointofapproximately95176;C(200176;F)asdeterminedbyTestMethodD36.(SeealsoTerminologyG113.)1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
